- Trip Overview
Unlimited game drives in Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti
Visit to an authentic Maasai Village
Walking / Cycling tour with a certified cultural guide to a local town Mto Wa Mbu where over 30 tribes come together to form a local community
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal driver-guide will meet you and drive you to Arusha where you will rest overnight.
We spend the day at Tarangire National Park famous for its high concentration of elephants, often seen in big herds. Tarangire's skyline is framed by the stubby branches of fat baobab trees and metre-high termite mounds. This national park also boasts over 500 species of birds, including some species specific to Tanzania.
Overnight at selected lodge in Karatu.
Half day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact and unfilled caldera. About 25 000 large animals live in the crater, including the elusive black rhinoceros.
In the late afternoon, we drive north to Serengeti National Park. En route, we will visit an authentic Maasai village where you will get to interact with the Maasai tribe.
Overnight at selected tented camp in Serengeti.
Covering over 15 000 sq kilometres, Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species.
Our focus here is to follow the migration of the animals and with some luck, spot them crossing the river.
Large number of big cats also inhabit in Serengeti, making it a haven for the Big Five photo-hunting.
Overnights at selected tented camp in Serengeti, last night back to Karatu.
Before your return flight, spend some time cycling through a local village and experience the local way of life. Over 30 tribes come together to form a community here, co-living in peace and harmony. Learn about the agricultrual way of living and visit the Makonde woodmakers, whose skill has been passed on from generation to generation.
